After being a Bradley student myself and rocking the natural birth of my son, I felt passionate about helping other couples on their path to an empowered birth. I made the switch from a fulfilling career in environmental education curriculum development & educator training to an even more fulfilling career helping couples find their own birth mojos.
In addition to being a mom and wife, I teach Bradley Method® childbirth classes, Newborn Care classes, and provide birth doula services for my students.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Yoga Teacher in the state of Colorado, specializing in supporting women through their experiences with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, and postpartum psychosis. My practice is rooted in journeying with pregnant and postpartum mamas as they navigate the waters of motherhood and the many emotional and physiological changes that occur before and after childbirth.
I have over 9 years of experience as a clinical social worker and I am an active member of Postpartum Support International (PSI). I have completed the PSI Certificate Training in assessment and treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, received an undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa, and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan Graduate School of Social Work. After graduation, I spent several years working in palliative and end-of-life care, then, after the birth of my daughter and my own experience with postpartum depression and anxiety, I created Mama Bird Wellness, my private practice dedicated to supporting mamas through their pregnant and postpartum seasons.
My own yoga practice deepened immensely after the birth of my daughter and yoga was a huge part of my healing in my own postpartum journey. After learning the importance of grounding, breath work, and allowing time to turn inward, I ultimately was led to complete a 200 hour yoga teacher training through Soul Tree Yoga in Lafayette, CO. My compassionate, nurturing teaching style and integrative sequences give my students the opportunity to explore and deepen their own practice and heal in a safe, sacred space.
I believe we have the opportunity to grow from each of our experiences, both on and off the mat, and I am honored to walk beside my students and clients as they navigate life's transitions, joys, and challenges, especially during the pregnancy and postpartum seasons.

I have been working in the field of counseling and psychotherapy in various roles for the past ten years. I have my master’s degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. My experiences include: working in the sexual health field doing HIV testing/counseling, supervising staff that worked with pregnant and parenting teens, working with youth at a day treatment center, crisis and intake work with adults and children, and now private practice work focusing on babyloss and relationship issues with couples. I draw from the breadth of my experiences to meet clients where they are at while supporting them on their journey. I am passionate about what I do and love working with others! It is an honor and privilege to be a part of my clients’ lives.
I thoroughly enjoy continuing education and keep myself up-to-date in my specialties including babyloss, grief and loss, pregnancy, parenting, and couple work. The trainings I participate in are often grounded in attachment and neuroscience.
At the end of the day, before I am a psychotherapist I am a wife and mother to two children – one living child and one who died. My personal experience of grief and loss with the death of my firstborn daughter brought me to the specific work of babyloss and couple therapy. Becoming a parent changes a person’s life. Losing a baby through miscarriage, termination, stillbirth and/or newborn loss changes a parent’s life and relationships in unique, confusing, heart-wrenching and often unspoken ways. I am here to help you voice your experiences, to connect with your partner through your loss and/or other relationship issues, and to walk with you on this seemingly daunting journey with strength, courage and warmth.

Day in the Life Photographer
I believe in preserving unfiltered moments of today so you can relive them in the future.
I had no idea I would love being a mother until I became one.
I believe less is more when it comes to TV, processed food and being perfect.
Have kids, still travel. Passing my wanderlust onto my wee one is at the top of my list.
Dancing is as normal to me as walking, especially if it is in the kitchen during meal prep time.
Riding a bike in a dress on date night is how I roll. My tiny human rocks her trike in a dress too.
Eating a meal as a family is my favorite part of my day. Home cooked food is the way to my heart.
I speak dog and my husband is trying to teach me to speak cat.
I believe everyday unpolished life is beautiful.
My Day in the Life sessions take place in your home. We will do things your family does nearly every day. During the sessions, I do not give much direction, but instead I interact with your family and document what unfolds. I anticipate there to be a wide range of things to capture. Smiling moments. Laughing moments. Frustrating moments. Crying moments, and everything in between. Trust me, this is when the magic happens.
There is no pressure to act perfect or look perfect. No pressure for the kids to behave how they never behave. No need to sit still and look at the camera. Just you and your family doing your thing that you do everyday.
Kelly Roche Sproul is a native to Boulder, Colorado, and an established yoga instructor specialized in prenatal and postnatal yoga, mindfulness and biomechanics. Her love for this work shines through her ability to wholeheartedly support each individual's unique process physically, mentally and emotionally. Kelly came to teach through her personal experience of what science has recently observed with meditation and mindfulness - that we can literally change the neurological configurations of the brain, repattern the nervous system, heal our body and more. Her practice has inspired her teaching over the years primarily through the experience of finding freedom and genuine happiness - she couldn't imagine keeping the path to herself. Her hope is to offer the framework, the practices, and the space to explore the possibilities of new ways of engaging in life that may relieve the unnecessary struggles with what-is in ones own human experience.
She believes that it is entirely possible for everyone to find their own unique path to freedom if they so choose. It's not about perfection, it's not about having a silent mind 100% of the time, and it's not about arriving at some enlightened plateau where nothing can touch you. No, it's about transforming hard times and heart ache into gifts designed to motivate growth, insightfulness, and a new degree of unwavering inner strength. It's simple, but not always easy.
